Each pair of Fizzy Taste earrings is part of a small-batch series — meaning no two are exactly alike. The recycled can pieces are always different, making every pair unique. These joyful earrings are handcrafted from sterling silver and recycled soda cans. The aluminium is cut by hand and each tiny cone is individually shaped using round-nose pliers. Once formed, each cone is glued onto a delicate sterling silver pin that holds and supports it.

Because the material is aluminium, the earrings are incredibly light — they add color and movement without weighing you down. The shimmering can fragments catch the light beautifully, illuminating your face with every turn.

The soda cans I use are collected from local bars and restaurants in Cape Town, giving a new life to everyday objects in the most joyful way. The cuts are never random: I deliberately select the quirkiest parts of the cans, often featuring unexpected words or bold color combinations.

And don’t worry: the aluminium never touches your skin: only the sterling silver, ensuring comfort and quality.
